Hi, I'm James Foster.
I love the thrill of creating something new and fresh. New ideas, innovation and exploration are the life blood of the economy. It's amazing how some things that are so brilliantly simple can grow to be massive success stories. Throughout my time in business I have sought out opportunities, to grow more often than not, bootstrapped and targeting high growth.
My key achievements, £5 million loss to profit in 11 months, launched various ecommerce 1st's, multi award winning ecommerce design (home delivery & geo coded), multiple patents (hybrid vehicle and refinishing), set up and sold 5 businesses of my own.
My goal as your Start Up Guru is to enable you to do the same. To give you the confidence to try, and the personal strength to succeed.
Starting out can be scary, on one level this is good, harnessing it keeps you sharp, however my skill if any is to help you rationalise this into a winning formula.
